In the halls of Boulder Creek High School, there were two individuals - Zach and Judy. They were first introduced by his sister, Ashlee. From the moment Judy met Zach, she was smitten with the biggest crush on him. But, timing was never quite right for them. They went their separate ways after high school. Judy headed off to the University of Arizona while Zach embarked on a new adventure in the Navy, stationed all the way in Japan. After years apart, Judy had a random instagram message on December 25th 2018 that said, "Merry Christmas Judy Cho" from Zach. Their connection quickly grew stronger, texting and facetiming at random hours of day to keep up with the time difference for the next couple of months. Zach finally stepped on American soil, awaiting his discharge in Seattle. Although there were only a couple of weeks left before he returned to Arizona, they could not wait to see each other. Zach flew Judy out to Seattle where they reunited after all these years. Every day since this moment, they have grown closer and closer and loved more and more each day.
After 4 years of dating, Zach surprised Judy with plane tickets to Seattle in early 2023, where they first reunited. As their last visit together was short, they didn't get to do all the tourist things she had wanted to do. So she planned every detail of this trip - to each tourist attraction, brewery, and every meal. On the Saturday of their trip, they dressed up and went to dinner. Zach had planned a surprise after their meal. They headed to West Montlake Park just outside the city. They walked up to a big park, the sun was starting to set, there were boats and yachts sailing in the bay. Walking across the field, Judy could see there was an extravagant picnic set up right on the edge of the water. As they got closer, Judy read a big sign that said "will you marry me?" in Korean and turned towards him to find him on one knee.
