There are plenty of parking spots in Kubota gardens, including street parking outside the lot. However, at Brimmer and Heeltap, you'd have to find parking in the neighbourhood.
Both venues will be outdoors. At Brimmer and Heeltap, the dining area is covered, but it will still be an open area with heaters around. Please bring a jacket or sweater to stay cozy throughout the night.
In light of our intimate reception setting, we have chosen to host an adults-only event. We truly appreciate your understanding.
Please reach out to Judy at judynb11@gmail.com or jesusavila023@gmail.com to set up car pools.
The attire will be semi-formal and the colour theme will be light/pastel. Wear what feels comfortable for you, but do wear an appropriate attire for a wedding event and the usual custom for ladies to avoid wearing an ivory or white dress.
Open bar service is not included, but there will be a bar at the reception. We are only able to offer one free alcoholic drink per person and you are free to order more at your own expense. Don't forget your ID. Drink responsibly and get an Uber if you need or let us know if you are not able to drive. ("Don't be like Tiger Woods or me when I was 15" - Jesus)
Because we’re still figuring out where we’ll be settling after the wedding either in the U.S. or Canada, we’ve decided not to create a traditional registry at this time. With the added costs that come with one of us relocating internationally and starting our life together in a new country, we felt it would be most practical to avoid household gifts until we know where we’ll be living. For those who have asked, we would be incredibly grateful for contributions toward this next chapter together or our honeymoon, whether by cash, cheque, Zelle, or PayPal. Above all, we’re simply grateful to have you be part of our special day a memory we will cherish forever and for your love, support, and generosity throughout our lives and now as we begin married life together.
