Skyline Lodge

The Skyline Lodge is where most guests -- including the bride & groom -- will be staying. It is a smaller hotel so reservations will book up quickly! What is so neat about this hotel is that it was designed by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's students (someone fact check me on this) and is a beautiful showcase of midcentury modern. This is a large and very well-known hotel group in Highlands. They have several different properties throughout, but this is smack in the middle of town.

Airport Information

There are several options in getting to Highlands, yet all flights will require a rental car or a shuttle. Asheville (AVL) has direct flights daily from DFW and ORD. It is about 1:20 from Skyline Lodge. Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL) has directly flights from, well, everywhere but is a bit further away. Without traffic, it is about 2:45 from Highlands but the drive is beautiful! Charlotte-Douglas (CLT) is another option with many flights from all over, but will take about 3:15 minutes.
