For the Saturday ceremony + reception the dress code is cocktail, and for the Friday welcome dinner and Sunday brunch the dress code is dressy casual. We suggest avoiding spiky heels, given that much of the venue is not paved! Descriptions of each dress code here (feel free to ignore the photo examples), in case helpful... Because of the location and nature of the wedding venue, we have decided to not invite children to any of our events. Give yourselves a kids-free vacation!
Bottom line is you won't be able to drive your own car to the venue for the Friday and Saturday evening events. There will *not* be any parking capacity, and you will be turned away, and we will be devastated, and everyone will be sad. Please see the Accommodations / Transportation page for more details, which lists the four options for wedding accommodations and explains the transportation arrangements.
The best way to get to the accommodations by public transportation from New York City is to take the Shortline Coach Bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Monticello, New York. From there, you would call a local taxi/black car service which would be about a 20-30 minute drive to the accommodations. The bus schedule from NYC -> Monticello can be found here: https://web.coachusa.com/shortline/ss.details.asp?action=Lookup&c1=New+York&s1=NY&c2=Monticello&s2=NY&resultId=212514&order=&dayFilter=&scheduleChoice=&nt=/&sitePageName=&cbid=20359539284 Two taxi / car services: Monticello Yellow Cab taxi service: 845-794-4040 Local black car service: https://www.alltrans.net/
