A friend and I wanted to play a board game, but needed more people to play. Courtney and some of her friends agreed to play with us. I added Courtney on Facebook that night when I got home. She accepted before morning.

We started the night at Christkindlmarkt, the Christmas festival in Indy. It was beautiful, but neither of us dressed warmly enough, so we left pretty quickly. This ended up working out for us since we went to the ballet next, and parking took us so long to find that we almost missed the show. Thankfully, we made it just in time and saw The Nutcracker. When we left, it started snowing as we walked back to our car. When we got home, Jack told me to close my eyes. When I opened them, he was down on one knee holding a ring and he asked me to marry him. I said yes.
