Yes, this is a wedding in a field! Nestled in Carson National Forest, this beautiful setting overlooks the Tres Piedras (3 Peaks) granite domes where Chase and I have climbed every year since 2013! We want this to be the most simple part of the weekend, so the fewest amenities will be provided! Bring some camp chairs if you will need to sit and don't forget to use the bathroom before you leave! The field is a short & flat 2 minute approach via a trail bedded with soft pine needles from beautiful Ponderosas - note that there could be snow on the ground, but likely not a lot as it melts quickly from the sun at high elevation. Given the variables of a true field wedding, guests are encouraged but not expected to come!
