Alex: Just getting to the beach to check the waves. A beach I rarely ever go to. Then I locked eyes with this beautiful woman. I invited her to go snorkeling with me. We went snorkeling on Mother’s Day and then I invited her for dinner. The rest are cherished memories together. Judith: I decided to stop at the beach to review my notes from a special meeting with a woman I had just met at yoga. She was helping me understand what motivates me vs what demotivates me at work. We breifly spoke about relationships and before I left she turned to me and said “honey, you’re a Chief and you need your Indian”. I smiled and headed on my way. On my way to the beach I crossed paths with Alex and his friend Nick. I said hello and Alex and I quickly connected about snorkeling. The haha part is that Al looks indigenous :) and is part Arawak. Throughout the years I’ve found that he holds such beautiful space for me to make decisions and perhaps thats what she meant when she said “you’re a Chief”. Together Alex and I love to have fun. We enjoy spending time in nature. We go paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, surfing and swimming. We explore different nature trails. We love traveling and discovering new cultures, spending time with family/friends and eating at different vegan restaurants. We recently signed up to help at our community garden because we also love plants and gardening. We’re looking forward to traveling again. At some point we’d like to start camping together. One of our dream travel spots is Indonesia. We truly look forward to seeing you all soon and are so appreciative for your love and continued friendship. Our hope is that we can all celebrate together in Jamaica winter 2022, date TBD. Near future: We’re excited to own our home near the beach with space for an art room, game room, a garden, bonfires and plenty of room for coconut trees & fruit trees. Cheers and thanks for taking the time to read our story. peace & love Judith & Alex
