Question

COVID-19

Answer

We are monitoring the pandemic and CDC guidelines very carefully. At this time, we are hopeful for normalcy in October. We are very thankful that a large number of our friends and family have already been vaccinated. We are encouraging all of our guests to continue to wear masks and get vaccinated when presented the opportunity. UPDATE 8/2021: We have decided that we will be requiring our guests to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and requiring proof of vaccinations. We have family and guests who are immunocompromised, and have young children attending our wedding. We not only care about our own health and safety, but our guests' health and safety as well. For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at: jj.kaiser2021@gmail.com

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes before the ceremony - 4:00 PM EST. The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30 PM EST.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There's parking at the venue, it will be in a grass lot.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The grass can be soft, and some areas of the barn will be on gravel, so rethink stilettos. Bring a jacket just in case it gets cold.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Is the reception going to be an open bar?

Answer

We will have open bar for two (2) hours - beer and wine only, and cash bar for the rest of the night. Unfortunately, we cannot have liquor in our venue.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We currently have a registry at Amazon, Target, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. You can find them here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/judiiandjoe/registry We also have a cash fund on Zola. We have been living together for three (3) years and have almost everything we need. We appreciate you thinking about us!
