We love your children, but due to space restrictions this is a child free event. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there a dress code?

Formal attire. Traditional attire is also welcome!

Can I take photos?

Answer

Our ceremony is strictly unplugged. We request that all phones are kept away and on silent for the duration of our ceremony as we have hired a trustworthy photographer and videographer to capture this moment for us. We promise these photos will be shared with you in the future. During the remainder of the celebration (cocktail hour & reception) photos are welcome and encouraged!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our venue is located at the Thayer Hotel. A block of rooms has been reserved. Please call the hotel directly and ask to reserve under the Meyer/Santiago room block for a discounted rate. You cannot book online for the room block. If you prefer alternative accommodations, there are many local hotels and airbnbs/vrbo available.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors in the Grant and Bradley Ballrooms at the Thayer Hotel.

I have a food allergy or other restrictions, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any allergies, restrictions, or concerns please indicate this when you RSVP. There will also be many passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations during the cocktail hour we hope may appeal to you for additional options.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Come ready to drink up and party! If you do plan to consume alcohol, please secure alternative transportation or stay at the hotel.

Is there any time between the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

While both the reception and ceremony are in the same location, there may be a 30 minute gap between the completion of the ceremony and the beginning of cocktail hour. Feel free to visit the hotel lobby bar (General Patton’s Tavern), explore the historical hotel and grounds, or freshen up in your room during this time. The cocktail hour will begin promptly at 6pm.

Where do I choose my meal?

A menu will be provided and our wait staff will take your order during the reception.

Is there an afterparty?

Answer

Yes! an afterparty with a cash bar will be held at Zulu Time. This is a rooftop bar at the hotel and is weather permitting. If weather does not allow, the after party will be held in our cocktail hour space.
