Welcome Party

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

ATTIRE. Extremely casual. Note that it can be cold and drafty inside this industrial brewery/warehouse, so please bring layers!

SETUP: We've got tables reserved in the "Parlor" and "North Warehouse" areas of this larger brewery, but the rest of the space will be open to the public. There are some games (shuffleboard, pinball, etc.) to keep us entertained. TIMING: It's an informal gathering, so drop by for any portion that works for your schedule. Some folks will likely arrive earlier than 6 and stay later than 9. Please note that children are welcome (and legal) at this event until 7:30pm. TRANSPORTATION: There is limited parking in the area, so it's probably better to walk or take a taxi/Lyft/uber to this gathering. FOOD: We'll provide some snacks and order a bunch of pizzas to help stave off our hunger. There will also be a food truck parked outside where you can purchase food. Since outside food is allowed, feel free to bring snacks for your kids or to share with the group. DRINKS: Tasty beer and wine available for purchase, either at the main/front bar or our private bar in the back section.

Commitment Celebration!

3:30 pm - 11:30 pm

DRESS WARMLY!! It will likely be cool outside (~50 degrees on the water), and the dining room may be drafty. So bring jackets, layers and wraps to keep yourselves warm. This is a pretty informal event, so don't wear your tuxedo. But feel free to dress up to make yourselves feel nice and pretty. Anything from jeans to suits is fine.

ROUGH SCHEDULE: - 3:30-4:00 - Welcome drinks and mingling (likely outside) - 4:00-4:30 - Commitment ceremony (likely outside); FYI half of guests will have to stand - 4:30-6:00 - Drinks and appetizers - 6:00-7:00 - Family-style dinner in Boathouse - 7:00-11:30 - Dancing & Dessert! KIDS: - Kids are welcome at all stages of this celebration! - Since we're expecting 20-30 children, we're gonna create a little "Kid Corner" area for them to have as a home base, with a kid-height table and chairs for them to color and play. Parents: Feel free to bring coloring books, games, and/or toys for your kids to enjoy while hanging out in this area.
