Although we are both Colombian and grew up in neighboring towns, we met at the Latin Party from Rookies (Local Bar) on a Friday night in Incline Village, NV. I (Juan) had just graduated from college, and Cami was spending her summer working abroad while on summer break from college. After the summer was over, we both took different paths, but we got back together a year later. Cami had one last summer working abroad, while I had just received news that the lottery had not selected my work visa application. We both returned home and started officially dating in the fall of 2018. Fate brought us together when we least expected it, and love kept us close when life pulled us apart. Now, we are ready to start the rest of our story, side by side.
