We are a "Brassyrian" couple bringing lots of cultural elements to our special day (Bride= Brazilian, Groom= Assyrian). We can't wait to share with you a little bit about our cultures. For the day of the wedding, our Assyrian-half holds a tradition where guests, family and friends will gather at the groom's house to celebrate, dance, and eat delicious food prior to picking up the bride for the wedding ceremony. After the Groom's House Celebration, guests will be directed to the bride's home for the second part of the celebration, more food and dancing awaits. You will get to see the bride and her bridal party, and you will be able to congratulate the families for this beautiful day. We will take lots of pictures here! We will love to eat, drink and dance with you prior to heading to our ceremony location. This beautiful and happy celebration takes place the day of the wedding. After we eat, drink, and celebrate - it's time to get married! (We are so excited!!). Once the house celebrations finish, all guests will be directed to our Ceremony location. Transportation will be provided for those who need it. The ceremony part of the day will follow our Brazilian-half tradition. Live instruments, small bites, and cocktails will be served. Expect lots of romance and happy-tears. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with the beautiful views of Spring Creek Golf Club. During this time, our photographer will take pictures of parents, godparents of the wedding, bridal party and the newly weds. Also following the Brazilian wedding traditions, the dinner and dance will take place after the cocktail hour. Guests do no need to go home in between ceremony and reception, they will both take place in the same venue. We don't want you to miss anything!
