We first met on February 13, 2024, his birthday, and after a few drinks and some late-night food, we became inseparable. Our connection was immediate—what I can only describe as love at first sight. We quickly fell in love, traveled together, laughed endlessly, and created countless beautiful memories. After receiving the blessings of my children, Rick and Chanel, as well as my parents, he proposed. We married on March 18, 2024, and soon after, moved in together. I have to thank our mutual friend, Melissa, for introducing us—I truly believe it was fate, or more accurately, a wonderful setup. Today marks one year of living together, and while some might consider it quick or unconventional, my heart knew it was right from the start. With God’s guidance and blessings, we are committed to each other and are incredibly happy as we continue this journey together.
