It all started with a simple question: "What kind of books do you like to read?" Juan's first message to Melina on the Hinge app. Little did she know, Juan wasn’t really interested in her book choices—he was just looking for a way to start a conversation with this beautiful woman. Although Melina wasn’t yet in Texas, they quickly found ways to keep in touch. Their conversation shifted from the app to text messages, phone calls, and FaceTime chats. They finally met in Denver, Colorado, when Melina asked Juan to be her date to a wedding. After a wonderful weekend together, Melina eventually moved to San Antonio. Once she was settled, their relationship continued to grow. They spent more time together, met each other's families, and formed lasting friendships. From concerts and book festivals to exciting travels, their bond deepened. On December 6, 2024, surrounded by family and mariachi music, in one of San Antonio’s most culturally significant locations, Juan asked Melina to be his wife. This is just the beginning of their journey together. Para Siempre, Hasta La Muerte.
