Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this is strictly an adults-only occasion with the exception of those in the bridal party.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The two main airports near San Miguel de Allende are Querétaro International Airport (QRO) and Bajío International Airport (BJX, also called León or Silao). Distance: Both are about the same distance from San Miguel (roughly 1.5 hours by car). City size: Querétaro is a larger city with more amenities, while León is smaller. Drive: From QRO, the drive is mostly flat and straightforward. From BJX, the drive takes you through the mountains, offering more scenic views but with winding roads. Either airport works well but your choice may depend on flight availability, pricing, or whether you prefer a flatter vs. mountain drive.

Question

How do I get from the airport to San Miguel de Allende?

Answer

There are several convenient options depending on your preference for comfort, flexibility, and budget: Private Shuttle/Driver: 1) Bajiogo Shuttle- Reliable airport shuttle and private driver service. Website: www.bajiogo.com Email: info@bajiogo.com Phone (Mexico): +52 (415) 152-1999 Phone (USA): +1 (202) 609-9905 2) Transport Arte Mexico- Another trusted provider offering airport transfers and private drivers. Website: transportartemexico.com/our-services Car Rental: Available at both airports if you prefer to drive yourself. Bus: Regional buses connect to nearby cities, but this option can be less direct and more time-consuming compared to shuttles or private drivers. For any questions or help coordinating transportation, feel free to reach out to Juan or Hannah directly.

Question

What is the best method of transportation?

Answer

On Foot - San Miguel is a walking town. It is quite small and easy to explore the neighborhoods in and around Centro on foot. However, the streets & sidewalks can be VERY narrow, steep and uneven! Sturdy shoes with good flat soles are essential. Automotive traffic moves at a snail's pace, pedestrians always have the right of way, and every corner is a four-way stop. So don’t worry about the cars so much – but WATCH WHERE YOU STEP!! By Car - Trusted Drivers to Airports and Local Environs (If they are busy, they can make a connection with other drivers): Martin Arevalo: +52-415-100-7528 - great for day trips and airports. Gerardo Ortiz: +52-415-156-4986 - great for day trips and airports. San Miguelito Local Taxi Service: +52-415-152-012410 - 10-20 minutes to arrive. UBER: Safe and convenient but can sometimes take 20 minutes.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?
