Juan and I have known each other since we joined our community at 13 years old. We never really talked at first, we had completely different friends and we had absolutely nothing in common. We established our relationship in 2013. It wasn’t perfect, we argued a lot, but we learned to grow and forgive each other day by day. Juan proposed at Laguna Beach on warm summer morning on June 1, 2019 while playing the “One and Only” song I had once dedicated to him by Adele. He finally “dared” himself to ask me to marry him too and of course I cried like a baby. He is my best friend, and the 6 years of watching us grow has been the most amazing journey. I simply cannot wait to see what God has in store for us next.
