The Wedding Website of Cristina Elena and Juan Sebastian
As you plan your trip to Colombia, here are some suggestions for attractions in Medellin, as well as other destinations to explore. We are so excited to share some of our favorite places with you! If you would like personalized itineraries and help with planning your trip, please contact Feel Tourism Experiences, the travel agency we are also using, by emailing info@feelmedellin.com.
Medellín

Medellín

Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia

In Medellín, you can visit Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a traditional Antioquian village. Enjoy panoramic views of the city, explore the charming streets, pick up a few souvenirs, and immerse yourself in the culture. Or immerse yourself in art at Plaza Botero, a public square filled with sculptures created by renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero. It's a great place to soak in the local atmosphere! Don't forget to check out El Poblado, the area around our wedding hotels, for some shopping, cafes, rooftops, and vibrant nightlife. For lunch, check out Mondongo's for Colombian tripe stew plus other homey traditional dishes. Please note: We are looking to organize a group tour of Medellin on Friday, May 23, and we encourage you to hold off on booking any other tours until you see if you’d like to join us for this!

Cartagena

Cartagena

Cartagena, Bolivar, Colombia

If you would like to extend your trip, Cartagena is a great coastal destination and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the colorful streets of the iconic walled city and visit historical landmarks like Castillo San Felipe de Barajas and the Palace of the Inquisition. Cartagena’s vibrant nightlife and historic charm will leave you enchanted. For some beach time, you can take a boat tour to the nearby Rosario Islands or book a resort directly there.

Bogotá

Bogotá

Bogotá, Bogota, Colombia

If you have time to explore another city, a great option is the capital city of Colombia, Bogota. Visit the historic district of La Candelaria, explore world-class restaurants and museums, and take a cable car ride up to Monserrate for breathtaking panoramic views. Don’t forget to try ajiaco, the region's traditional soup, in one of the city's many restaurants.
