We met at Rookies Bar and Grill in Ventura, CA, and didn't think much of it. Juan saw Ashley from across the room; he asked if he could take a picture with her and her friends, and the two took what seemed to be an innocent shot of tequila. Juan asked Ashley out a bunch of times before she finally said yes, and when she did, she had the time of her life... After 6 years of love, laughter and everything in between, Juan finally decided to pop the question!!!

We were celebrating buying our first home with a housewarming party! Juan and his Ruff Ryders planned to fake a motorcycle accident... Ashley began to hear screaming and commotion from the backyard when she heard someone shout "OMG! Juan just got into an accident!" Ashley came rushing to the front yard to find Juan laying on the asphalt covering in fake blood (IT LOOKED REAL!) Ashley, being a nurse, went into fight or flight mood trying to assess Juan's injuries. Juan began to get off the floor and onto one knee... he pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked "Ashley Wright, will you be my wife?" In complete shock but without hesitation, Ashley said YES!!! We can't wait to celebrate our special day with all of you!!! See you in San Diego!
