We highly recommend flying into the capitol airport. The airport will be about 30 minutes from the venue. If you are coming from Colorado, we suggested trying to find a layover in Miami as this is usually the shortest travel path. Now is a great time to book flights! We are see prices fluctuate between $400-$450. We recommend setting a Google Flight alert, prices change weekly. Depending on where you are flying from you will mostly likely need a day of travel so please plan ahead! Please keep us updated on when you are arriving, we would like to help with transportation from the airport. Taxis will always be available, but the hotel can assist as well!

Hotel Casa Hemingway
We have a booked a room block from October 4th-8th, leaving days to travel. To make reservations, our coordinator has asked that we have our guests email the reservations department at: reservaciones@clubhemingway.com, Please include her in the CC bar at: mhernandez@clubhemingway.com Your message should entail: your date of arrival, date of departure, what room you would like to reserve (Studio junior or Studio master suite), and our wedding block. You will also need to include your method of payment in this email (they will ask for a credit card number for the reservation) and you will give your passport ID when you arrive. You are welcome to include us in those emails as well so we can help keep track or make sure you are receiving an answer on time!

Dominican Republic Travel Application
If you are traveling from the states, PLEASE fill out this form BEFORE you travel! The Dominican Republic does NOT require a travel visa but will need you to fill out an entry form per family. You will be able to fill out ONE form for your entire party, up to 7 people. We recommend filling this out when you check-in for your flight 1-2 days before your travel. Once you have filled out the application you will receive a QR code that will be scanned along with your passport and fingerprints upon entry into customs. If you are taking American Airlines, the link to the form is under "Documents and Forms" on your flight information page, along with more instructions on how to access and fill out the application. Most major airlines will have a similar link on your flight information page, as well. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Transportation
When you arrive at the airport in Santo Domingo, there are taxis available on site along with Ubers through your phone app. You will need cash to use a taxi! The hotel will provide transportation if you would like to contact their email at reservaciones@clubhemingway.com with your flight details. They ask that we try to group as many people together as possible, so if you know someone will be arriving around the time you are please try to coordinate the shuttle with them. Otherwise they can work with their local taxi company and get you a ride with someone they use often. Please email their reservation desk for all the specifics!
