Matron of Honor
I met Olivia at Camp Riverside in 5th grade. The first time she came over for a playdate, my youngest brother (Johnny, age 2) was unfortunately in the midst of a fascination with 'spitting cobras.' He selected the moment Olivia and her mom walked in the door to slither (on his belly) up to her and spit on her feet as a welcome greeting. Luckily, Olivia and Mrs. Nickie overlooked this breach of etiquette and allowed Olivia to continue hanging out with me. As they say, the rest is history!
Matron of Honor
Angela and my younger brothers (Daniel and Graham) became fast friends as soon as we moved into Maple Ridge. One day Angela came up to bring Daniel home for dinner and we hit it off right away. As Angela only lived a few houses down the street, we soon began spending every day after school together, then weekends, and eventually became the best of friends. Since Olivia had previously lived in our neighborhood, she and Angela were already friends (ask them about their Goosebumps days). It was written in the stars that the three of us would become eternal friends! Angela is also a healthcare hero (Oncology Nurse) so give her a shoutout when you see her.

Sophia was my first friend in Atlanta, and helped me find my first apartment in the city after a series of mishaps (a story for a different time). She was there the day JT and I reconnected at Chopfest, and we've enjoyed many brewery hangs, dinners, and Atlanta adventures with her. She has discovered many of our favorite girls' night spots and I am thankful for her advice on all things Amazon, Target, and hacks of every kind. Sophia is a genuine and kind friend and I can't wait to have her stand with me as I say I do!
