RVSPs were due by Thursday, June 20, 2024. We can no longer accept any late RSVPs as our vendors required final counts. We are sad and sorry to miss you on our special day.
The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at The Broadmoor's Cheyenne Lodge. The Cheyenne Lodge address is 4199 S Club Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80906. Our venue is NOT the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
Yes, we are arranging bus transportation from both The Broadmoor (Broadmoor SOUTH) and the Hyatt Place Hotel to the Cheyenne Lodge on Friday, September 20th. Transportation will depart PROMPTLY at 3:45 PM from both hotels. The bus will NOT circle back for a second round of departures. Please be on time!
Guests should refrain from using Uber/Lyft services as the Cheyenne Lodge is located within a private residential community. If driving yourself, please note you should not be drinking alcohol during the reception.
While we love the little ones, the ceremony and reception are for adults only at this time.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will be included on your formal invitation and when you RSVP through this website.
We have secured a block of rooms at The Broadmoor and at the Hyatt Downtown in Colorado Springs with discounted rates. Rooms are available to book through the links on our “travel” page and are first come, first reserved. There are other hotel's, AirBnB's, and VRBO's in the area as well.
The ceremony will be outdoors during the late afternoon hours. We encourage our guests to dress up with the mountains and their earthy fall tones but please no jeans. Please leave your whites, beiges, and champagne colors for the bride.
The average temperature in Colorado Springs in September for a typical day ranges from a high of 75°F to a low of 45°F (9°C). Some would describe it as mildly cool with a gentle breeze. Due to the San Juan mountain ranges surrounding Colorado Springs, weather can change in an instant.
Colorado Springs sits at 5,994 ft. above sea level. If you are coming from a low altitude location, altitude sickness may affect you. Please make sure you drink a lot of water and eat appropriate meals. Avoid drinking alcohol in excess, eat foods that contain potassium, and stay hydrated. If you feel tired, dizzy, or nauseous from the elevation, Ibuprofen and a cold compress may help.
