Just a short drive outside of Clarendon Hills/Oak Brook area, explore the Naperville area with an abundant amount of areas to explore.  Visit the beautiful downtown Naperville that is full of fantastic restaurants, bars, and stores.  Located in Naperville is the historic Naper Settlement that is gleaming with history of not only this wonderful city but the US throughout the years.  Outside Naperville is Cantigny Park, located in Wheaton, IL.  View the history of the US through the eyes of the 1st division, dating back from World War One to current.  This is not only a place for adults to explore interesting history but it is also a place for kids to interact with tanks on display.  It also features a beautiful garden to take a stroll through and a marvelous 27 hole golf course.  Though Clarendon Hills and Oak Brook may not have much to offer, the surrounding areas definitely will make your time much more enjoyable.
