We met about a month into our freshman year at Roger Williams University, when everything still felt new, exciting, and a little chaotic in the best way. Brooklyn’s friend who she already knew from high school (shoutout Erica) invited her over to her dorm one night. When she arrived, she walked into a room full of guys from the dorm and was introduced to everyone, including JT. What may have seemed like a small, forgettable introduction became the start of something unforgettable for both of them. What began as a room full of strangers quickly turned into late-night conversations, inside jokes, and the kind of connection you don’t expect to find just a few weeks into college.
