Johnny and Te'Era met in September 2012. Johnny was auditioning singers to work as subs on his band. Te'Era had the pleasure of working with Johnny on one of his gigs. After working together, they lost contact with each other for several years. Then COVID-19 hit and the world slowed down. During July 2020, almost 8 years after they first met, Te'Era and Johnny found each other on a dating app. Johnny was curious, and Te'Era wanted to know if he remembered her. Once they made contact with one another on the dating app, they never lost sight of one another again. It is now ten years after they first crossed paths, and they are now getting married. The two reconnected during one of the most troubling times in the world which is a reminder that there is beauty in the midst of a storm. The couple believes that God allowed them to overlook each other the first time until they were both ready for true love.
