Rent a boat on Lake Union
We have rented a boat from the Electric Boat Company a few times. This is a fun and easy way to enjoy Lake Union! You can even bring your own food and beverages on board!
Paddle Boarding/Kayaking
We love taking our paddle boards out on a nice summer day! You can rent paddle boards and kayaks by the hour from Moss Bay.
Ballard Brewery Hop
Ballard is known for it's microbreweries! There are many in this area. We recommend starting at Reuben's then heading to Stoup, Urban Family, and Lucky Envelope. Head to Fremont Brewing one neighborhood over for the full experience!
Dinner at Ray's
Ray's Boathouse and Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants. This iconic waterfront restaurant features delicious seafood and amazing views of Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains. The downstairs boathouse has elegant fine dining and requires reservations. Head upstairs to the cafe for a more casual experience!
Day Trip to Leavenworth
Leavenworth is a Bavarian village about 2.5 hours from Seattle in the Cascade Mountains. We love coming here for the unique architecture, pretzels, brats & beer, shopping, and fun recreational activities! Fun fact: we got engaged here at Blackbird Island-Waterfront Park
