We planned a buffet dinner consisting of caesar salad, chicken piccata, blackened salmon with roasted tomato coulis, mushroom risotto with truffle parmesan, rigatoni with spinach and sundried tomatoes with feta, and grilled asparagus. There will also be a charcuterie and butlered hors devours during the cocktail hour, and wedding cake for dessert.
Bridge Street is typically closed on weekends throughout the summer. We’re not sure what date that will start. We will post on our site as soon as the Borough announces the date. We anticipate the street being closed on First Friday, May 2. If you’re arriving Friday evening please plan accordingly. See below for more parking information.
Parking in Phoenixville is a point of controversy. Street parking usually isn’t free. Be sure to look at signs. There are several lots in town. Just follow the parking signs. They use an app you can download to your phone to pay for a space. If you drive toward our house you can park on Smithworks Blvd for free. The SRT runs parallel to Smithworks, which connects to sidewalks in town to get you where you’re going. You can also park close to our house. At the moment all street parking in Steelpointe is free. Just pick an open spot and hop on the SRT.
If you’re lucky enough to find street parking close to The Great American Pub, take it! Otherwise, there is a parking lot next to Sedona that flows to the other side of The Boardroom, ending in a paid lot closer to the SRT. All of these areas are in walking distance to GAP.
We eat at Sedona A LOT. They have a diverse and delicious menu, and their drinks are yum! Try their baked wings! Phoenixville Cafe and Nudy’s have great breakfast menus. They’re both on Bridge Street in Phoenixville, about three blocks apart. Il Granaio is under the Mainstay Inn. They have one of the best happy hours and their food can’t be beat! Try their pineapple martini. They also make a mean espresso martini. The Boardroom is to the right of Sedona. They have exceptional food and drinks. This has become a favorite.
You’ve come to the right town! We can’t really recommend a place for beer, but Stable 12 and Root Down are always busy. Fenix has happy hour every day they’re open with half off martinis. They are primo! Bluebird is our top recommendation. The drinks are outstanding. If you want a good Old Fashioned, this is the place to be.
