We were in the same year in law school, but didn't meet until we took a school trip to Israel together. We shared a lot of laughs and long conversations over Israeli beer. We travelled the country together during the trip, and Nikki changed her travel plans for after the trip so she could join JP in Greece. We have been partners in crime ever since!

We love spending time at JP's family cabin at Albert Beach. One morning JP brought out coffee and cinnamon buns for a breakfast picnic on the beach. While we watched our dog swim in the lake, Nikki commented that it was a perfect day. JP responded that he wanted to spend all of his days with Nikki, and then got down on one knee and proposed. Our dog was momentarily concerned about the tears, but when she realized we were happy she continued to dig her hole.
