Charleston is a quick, scenic drive from Seabrook. We recommend taking a day trip to explore the city. If you are looking for spots to eat in Charleston, we love 167 Raw, The Darling Oyster Bar, Lewis BBQ, Leons Oyster Shack, FIG, Indaco, and Callies Hot Little Biscuits. If you want something sweet check out Jeni's Ice Cream or Carmella's Cafe and Dessert Shop. Many restaurants in and around Charleston require advanced reservations. Located right off the island, Freshfields Village is a great place to explore as it has more than 30 shops, restaurants, a grocery store, and the Andell Inn.
Bohicket Marina is located right off Seabrook Island. The marina offers charters, boat rentals, and select shops and restaurants. Welcome drinks will be held at the Salty Dog Cafe in the Marina.
There are lots of great restaurants on and around Seabrook. On Seabrook we recommend checking out the Seabrook Island Club dining options as well as The Salty Dog Cafe, 48 Wine, and Heges. If you want to stay close but are comfortable with a 15-20 minute drive, we recommend the Royal Tern, Lost Isle, the Estuary Beans and Barley, and the Wild Olive. The Ryder Cup Bar at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island is a great spot to grab drinks or a meal. Although on the pricier side, the views are worth it!
The Angel Oak is an enormous, 400-year old oak tree located in Angel Oak Park on Johns Island.
Bike rentals are available at Alligator Bike or Island Bike & Surf Shop in Freshfields Village.
