Do I need a rental car?
There will be a shuttle to and from the hotel and also into downtown Cancun. There are also many excursions that will pick you up from the hotel. Cancun and Playa del Carmen are both a 25-30 minute drive if you're looking to explore more or do some shopping. Tulum and Cozumel are an hour away. Chichen-Itza is about 2 hours away.
