As most of you know, we have known each other for quite some time now. We've been friends since high school, and had one short attempt at dating back in the day. Unfortunately, timing was never our strong suit. Until now...

We don't have an official "that's the day we started dating" date. We have tried to come up with one a few times but never seem to agree. It is somewhere between December 2017 and January 2018. What we do know for sure is that by February 2018, Michelle was already trying to figure out if Johnny was going to move back to Chicago, or if life in Madison was soon to be her destiny. After a few months of our long (short?) distance relationship, Johnny moved back to Chicago, making Michelle (and MANY others) very happy! We spent the next year happily dating and living in our Logan Square apartment until...

Waking up to the smell of bacon on a Tuesday morning would have been enough to make Michelle happy on her day off, but Johnny had much bigger plans that day. While in the middle of making our favorite breakfast, Johnny took a break from cooking to ask an important question. While on his knee, Michelle was too surprised to keep standing herself. Falling over into the fridge, tears running down her cheeks, a 'yes' was in there somewhere.

What a WILD ride 2020 was for all of us. We were pretty bummed to have to postpone our wedding day (as were so many others) but we are so excited to finally have a new date set! Stating the obvious, we have made some BIG changes to our wedding plans and we appreciate all the support from our family and friends over the past year. We know that life looks different for everyone right now and that also means that weddings will look a little different too. We are so excited to have you all with us for our wedding, and we know that you will join us in maintaining a safe environment for us all to celebrate together. As the wedding approaches, we will provide the most up to date information we have regarding the safety rules and regulations required by the resort.
