Flight

Sacramento International Airport (SMF)

Southwest Airlines is probably the most affordable way to fly into Sacramento International Airport (SMF). Although they don’t offer direct flights from many Midwest cities, they usually have good deals with one-stop connections.

Hotel

Midtown/Sacramento or Antelope

You have two main options for locations for targeting hotels or Airbnbs. In our experience, Airbnb will be a better value because all the transplants leave Sacramento in December. Near Antelope, CA Antelope is where Joyti’s family lives. It’s a quieter, more residential area, and centrally located for the two main events of the week. Joyti's family: 4434 Woodhawk Way, Antelope, CA 95843. Downtown/Midtown Sacramento Staying in downtown or midtown Sacramento will put you closer to Derek and Joyti, with easy access to highways, nightlife, and restaurants. It’s a lively area full of great food and fun things to do. When looking at neighborhoods, we recommend the following: Midtown, East Sacramento, or North Natomas. Here’s a rough idea of travel times: 1) The Jaggo will be about 15 minutes from downtown Sacramento and 10 minutes from Antelope. 2) The Anand Karaj will be about 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento and 15 minutes from Antelope. We hope this helps make planning your trip easy and fun. Please reach out with any questions!
