Things To Do

If you have the time these places are well worth a stop! Our recommendation would be to visit anything on the West side of the bridge (Annapolis, DC, Baltimore, etc) on Friday or Sunday. The bridge doesn't close often for weather/high wind, but if it does your 30 minute ride to the Eastern Shore turns into a 2.5 hr expedition around the bay. Please plan accordingly!

Rise Up Coffee Roasters

618 Dover Road, Easton, MD 21601

Rise Up is an Eastern Shore staple! Some of the best coffee around plus they have locations all over (and they serve it at the venue and Inn attached!) Well worth a visit if you have the time.

Third Eye Games & Hobbies

209 Chinquapin Round Road, Annapolis, MD 21401

By far our most visited place in Annapolis. This game and comic store is massive and will have everything you need and everything you didn't know you need. Over 70% of our massive board game collection comes from here for good reason - the staff are incredible and the selection is insane.

Chick & Ruth's Delly

165 Main Street, Annapolis, MD 21401

On Nick's first visit to Annapolis Leslie made sure to bring him here. This old resturant has some of the best crab cakes, soups and pies (not to mention everything else you could imagine from a fantastic diner) plus some bagels hanging from the ceiling.

Bridges Restaurant on Kent Narrows

321 Wells Cove Road, Grasonville, MD 21638

A favorite of Nick and Leslie everytime they visit. If you're looking for a nicer restaurant to enjoy a meal you will not be disappointed here!

Tuckahoe State Park

13070 Crouse Mill Road, Queen Anne, MD 21657

We've spent countless hours of walks and hikes at this state park, and would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy the scenery, go for a walk or enjoy a low intensity hike.

Vanderwende Farm Creamery

4003 Seashore Highway, Greenwood, DE 19950

An incredible local ice cream shop where everything is homemade daily from their own dairy cows.

Easton

Easton, MD 21601

Downtown Easton has a ton of nice shops and good restaurants, and is a place Nick and Leslie spend tons of time while out on the shore.

Chestertown Historic District

Chestertown, MD 21620

For the history buffs out there, the historic Chestertown has some great buildings and exhibits to check out - check out the website to see what's there.
