"We have been seeing each other since we were kids given the fact that we shared the same roof from elementary to high school but we never realized that we are going to see each other for a lifetime." Henrey and I met in the four corners of our classroom. We were classmates from elementary to high school but we never had the chance to get along with. He has his own bunch of friends the same way as I am. But destiny made it's way to keep us closer 2 years before we separated. It was our junior years, when our seat plan was changed and my seat was transferred behind him; when I played with his notebook and kept it inside our broom box; when he smiled at me after knowing what I did; when he generously shared his answers during on the spot quizzes; when he texted me good morning and goodnight; and when he gave me companionship I never thought I would have.
I was overwhelmed to have someone who would patiently talk to me at night. Someone I can openly share my thoughts and dreams, my worries, silent cries and heart aches. Henrey was the one I can lean on. He cheered me up, tapped my back and would always say "it's okay, everything will be fine. You can do it". We shared everything under the sun. He tells me his love life and allowed me to be friends with his girls. As his friend, of course I will always raise the flag. He confides everything to me and it was my pleasure to have his trust. Our friendship was unexpected I must say. And I will be forever grateful to have met my best friend. So we plead to keep our friendship as it is.
