Co-Maid of honor
Sarah's sister (2 years younger) is a deep thinker, analytical writer and self-proclaimed poet. She's often writing down her thoughts and definitely has one of the most beautiful penmanships I've ever seen (second to my dad's). She’s done a lot of bold and daring things in life-- like chasing her dream job in Seoul and has even been in a music video.
Best Man
Older brother of 4 years that has always looked younger than me. Due to that fact, I had no problem getting into bars before the age of 21 because he would get carded first. A loving brother until puberty, but took a break during teenage years, then was back to being a loving brother when I turned 21. Since then, he’s been my best man.
Co-Maid of honor
Best friend and partner in crime for the last 23 years. I still remember: our very first time sneaking out together, trip to the yearbook plant in Utah, and most recently, a life changing trip to Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico (decided I may want to date David). She has lived in Barcelona and currently lives in Tel Aviv. She travels often, has friends all over the world and is a master foodie. And... she's been 'Team David' since day 1!
Groomsman
The shy and quiet one. The friend I didn’t necessarily need to know for a long time to become close with. Became two peas in a pod while sharing similar interests in the food industry. Sushi restaurant owner and avid sports fan.
Bridesmaid
Met in middle school in Palos Verdes, where I was a new student. She was a year older than me but was nice enough to introduce me to new friends. Reconnected after college and have been good friends ever since. I nicknamed her "Cardi E" because she is just as funny Cardi B. She is my favorite comedian.
Groomsman
Friends since the tender age of 14. He often feels like the villain in his own story and is always finding ways to get us into trouble. Thanks to his comedic personality we have a lifetime of amazing memories.
Bridesmaid
My very Asian friend who isn't really Asian. She packs a 17 step skincare routine when traveling, eats rice with kimchi regularly and appreciates all flags and cultures like I do. We joke that we both are trapped in someone else's body.
Groomsman
White on the outside, Korean on the inside. The first time we met (through his wife, Sue), we had an instant connection. So he asked me to go to his Bachelor party. Been buddies since. Sue still gets jealous sometimes.
Bridesmaid
Guaranteed fun when we’re hanging out because we always find something to laugh about, and a lot of the time, it's at each other. Great to have someone who talks the same language as you (soju) and understands specific expressions that only work in the native tongue (9 ji).
Groomsman
"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer". We first met at a bar and almost got into a fight. But after hugging it out, we gradually became close friends... He still doesn’t know he’s my enemy!
