It was a peaceful, beautiful Sunday — the kind where everything feels just right. On our way to Church that morning, he looked at me and said, “I know you are the woman my grandma prayed for.” In that moment, I felt all the butterflies of a first date, and my heart knew something special was unfolding. After church, we spent the day together in Viera, doing some of our favorite things — shopping, laughing, just enjoying each other’s company. When we got home, we were joking around and dreaming about our future when I teased, “Well, we can’t do anything until you do something about this,” gesturing to my bare finger. He smiled, said “Okay,” and to my complete shock, got down on one knee. Through happy tears and a beautiful speech, he asked me to be his forever — and of course, I said yes. Fue un domingo tranquilo y hermoso, de esos en los que todo se siente perfecto. Mientras íbamos camino a la Iglesia esa mañana, él me miró y me dijo: “Sé que eres la mujer por la que mi abuela oró para mí.” En ese momento, sentí todas las mariposas de una primera cita, y supe que algo especial estaba ocurriendo. Después de la iglesia, pasamos el día en Viera, haciendo algunas de nuestras cosas favoritas: comprando, riendo y simplemente disfrutando de nuestra compañía. Al llegar a casa, entre bromas y sueños sobre nuestro futuro, le dije en tono de broma: “Bueno, no podemos hacer nada hasta que hagas algo acerca de esto,” señalando mi dedo. Él sonrió, dijo “Está bien,” y para mi total sorpresa, se arrodilló. Entre lágrimas de felicidad y unas palabras hermosas, me pidió que fuera suya para siempre — y por supuesto, dije que sí. ¡Ahora estamos comprometidos y no podemos esperar para comenzar este nuevo capítulo juntos! ¡Estamos súper emocionados de celebrar esta nueva aventura contigo! ¡Nos vemos prontito en Palm Bay, FL!
