We're getting married!

We first met at Chuze Fitness Santee. Zeke was working the front desk when I started working out there with my brother, Stephen. He would welcome us in and make casual conversation. One time, I was waiting for Stephen at the front desk and decided to strike up what turned out to be a very important conversation with Zeke - apparently, he had thought Stephen and I were married because we had the same last name! I made it very clear he was my brother and my gym buddy and that I was currently single. Over the next few weeks, we would talk more when we would see each other. Zeke decided to make a move but wanted to be respectful as to not do it in front of Stephen. He tried to get me away from him to ask but I thought he was being a good employee and trying to upsell different amenities. He said that after a few unsuccessful attempts, he thought I was not interested and had decided to give up. I noticed the vibe shift between us and couldn't figure out what happened. During some girl talk with my coworker, I realized that he had sent me signals that went clear over my head. She couldn't believe I hadn't noticed the signs. After that, I went to the gym with the intention of showing my interest and Zeke immediately noticed. The next time Stephen and I went to the gym, Zeke asked his coworker Katie to help him out and to distract Stephen with an anime cartoon so he could talk to me one-on-one. Once Stephen was successfully distracted, Zeke casually asked me about my gym routine and invited me to come to the spin class he taught and I said yes. He asked me for my Instagram and after a few days of chatting he asked me out to dinner. We went to Home & Away, then to the Coronado Ferry Landing where we watched the downtown skyline at sunset and the rest is history.
