Try your luck at locating Blackbeard's house. The Hammock House is the oldest house in Beaufort, built in 1800. It is privately owned, but the fun is in the journey to find it!

Beaufort Historic Site runs three tours: Historic Buildings, Double Decker bus tour, and the Old Burying Ground Tour. The Old Burying Ground is at Ann St. United Methodist Church!

Sitting directly across from the Beaufort Visitors Center and the Beaufort Historic Site, this building housed the Beaufort ABC store in the 1940s, the iconic Net House Restaurant, and most recently Old Salt Restaurant. These days it has 12 beers on tap including IPAs, milk stouts, and a variety of Belgian ales.
