We're Getting Married!

Contrary to popular belief, dating apps can work! Lane and I met on POF and had our first date on April 27, 2019. The rest they say is history. 😁

I have hinted for a ring for some time now lol. Put it on my Christmas and Birthday list. (My birthday is 2 days after Christmas.) Well for Christmas I got the instapot I wanted lol so I figured my ring would come for my birthday. On my birthday, Lane shows up to my apartment a half hour earlier than he said with crab legs (the Meijer by me was out and asked Lane to get some by the Meijer by him) and my birthday presents. There were 3 presents, including one that looked like a small box. He told me to save that one for last lol. I sat on my couch to open the presents. The first 2 were candles which I like and then I opened the last one. A beautiful rose gold colored diamond ring! I asked Lane "is this what I think it is?". He said "yep" and got on one knee and said, "will you marry me?". Of course, I said yes! He slipped the ring on my finger and miraculously it fit (size 9, I have fat fingers lol). We hugged and kissed and we are having crab legs on Tuesday, January 4 to celebrate our engagement together! 💍
