Garden of the Gods
In 1909, Garden of the Gods Park was deeded to the City of Colorado Springs under the condition that this one-of-a-kind place remain “forever free” to the public. The innovative public-private partnership between the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, and Garden of the Gods Foundation help protect and preserve this Natural National Landmark for future generations to explore.
Manitou Cliff Dwellings
The Manitou Cliff Dwellings Preserve is comprised of stones gathered from a collection of twenty-five mesa top dwellings located on private farmland a few miles northeast of McElmo Canyon, near Dolores Colorado.
Golden Bee English Pub inside the Broadmoor Hotel
The Golden Bee is an authentic 19th century English pub that arrived, panel by panel, at The Broadmoor in 1961. The result is an authentically cozy atmosphere of warm woods and traditional craftsmanship, perfectly recreating the impressive 'palaces to drink' that form such a comforting part of people's lives. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a zoological park located southwest of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Cheyenne Mountain in the United States. At an elevation of 6,714 feet (2,046 m) above sea level, it is the highest zoo in the country. The zoo covers 140 acres (57 ha), 40 of which are in use. The zoo houses more than 750 animals, representing nearly 170 different species, with more than 30 endangered species. The zoo was ranked the #2 best zoo in North America in 2025 by USA Today.
