Nearly 7 years ago, Cherry (AKA Aidy) called Positive Images looking for connection and support. Joy answered the call, both literally and figuratively, and the rest is history! Joy and Aidy’s friendship began during the pandemic, as they flirted over Zoom calls and got to know each other virtually. Joy finally got up the courage to ask Aidy out near the end of 2020, and the couple’s first date was on December 5th of that year. The two had a picnic at Doran Beach, enjoying sandwiches and mimosas as they watched the sun set. They felt a spark as they kissed for the first time underneath the stars. They returned home to Joy’s apartment and watched Supernatural, and that’s when Joy really knew that Aidy was the one ;) Cherry and Joy’s love grew as they shared music, developed a tradition of going camping together each year, and stayed by each other’s side no matter what. Cherry still loves the feeling she gets when she looks at Joy, and Joy is always amazed by how patient Cherry can be with them. Aidy and Joy moved in together in June of 2023, and have since adopted two frogs and one cat. Soup, Pudding, Missy, and Esther enrich their lives every day, and they are so grateful for their little friends. The two love to spend time with their loved ones, play video games, watch their favorite tv shows, and explore nature. Joy and Cherry are so excited to start this new chapter of their lives together, and they are so grateful that you’ll be a part of it!
