We met in our World History class at Cherry Creek High School while we were in our sophomore year. Jovanni then moved schools. We did not speak for almost a year, we reconnected on Facebook and after we spent more time together we knew that there was something special. We balance each other so well and knew that God put us together for a reason.

On our fourth anniversary of being together, we took a trip to the mountain house where Jovanni had a secret plan. He set up candles and flowers on the balcony. He put the engagement ring in the same box that my Dad proposed to my Mom with making it that much more special. Of course I said YESSSSS!!! We then went down stairs where my parents already had the champagne waiting along with celebratory cheering as I cried with happiness. The dream proposal that I have always wanted had become a reality!
