They say love often finds you when you least expect it and that couldn't be more true for us. We first met at work, just two people sharing laughs and conversations that came so naturally. What started as a simple friendship quickly became something more. There was an undeniable spark between us that neither of us could ignore. After a few amazing dates filled with laughter, long talks, and that feeling of "this just feels right," our connection grew deeper. Then, on November 20, 2022, after a fun day cheering on the Falcons, Donte asked Alexis to be his girlfriend. It was one of those moments that felt both exciting and peaceful, like everything was falling perfectly into place. Since that day, our love has continued to grown in the most beautiful ways. We've celebrated milestones, supported each other through challenges, and created a bond built on trust, laughter, and endless love. Then came April 6, 2025, a day we'll never forget. During our spring break trip to Savannah, Donte told Alexis to dress up because we were going to visit the vendors in Forsyth Park. We walked around for a while, enjoying the beautiful spring day, until he suggested we take a picture in front of the fountain. He asked a lady nearby who was already taking photos if she could take a few on his phone. She "accidentally" locked it, but kindly offered to take a few on her professional camera instead. As she started taking pictures, Alexis could feel Donte moving closer, and when she turned around, he was down on one knee, asking her to spend forever with him. In that magical moment, surrounded by the beauty of Forsyth Park, my heart overflowed with love and joy. With happy tears in her eyes, she said YES, yes to a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership with the love of her life. Now, we're so excited to begin this next chapter of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate our forever with all of you who have been part of our journey. ❤️
