We're getting married!

Truth be told, I (DJ) hated going to the library to study. I could never focus and I typically wouldn’t go, but I’m glad my friends convinced me to go on this day. My first impression of T was that she was there to get work done and she along side our friend Jasmine were studying hard. They got to a point where they needed help in math and since I was pretty decent at it I decided to play tutor. The closer I got the more I noticed how cute she was and to my later surprise she felt the same. I say later because even though T felt it first she played it cool until I made the first move( as a gentleman should). I know neither of us went into college expecting to find someone especially not in the third month but, me needing my hair done turned into further conversations that lasted from night till Dawn and us bonding more growing as people together. Learning lessons of patience and communication, shedding past trauma and building new foundations. Through college financial crises, a global pandemic forcing a long distance relationship, being reunited in an awful apartment ( though some of my foundest memories), back to long distance and plenty of family drama. It would be an understatement to say our relationship has been tested, but can say we passed with flying colors. In July of 2023 I came to the realization that I could not see myself without T. So the question was popped on the beach right outside of Navy Pier. After years of preparation most of which has been made by T and her mother. We welcome you to our biggest step yet.
