“I can’t believe my little girl is getting married!! It’s been a true blessing in my life to be your Mom. Journey you will always be my sweet angel girl!! I am so blessed to now have Will to love my Journey too!! Watching Journey and Will over the last 3 plus years has been amazing to watch. Proud of you both!! Love you both so much!!”

Tony Otten

Step Father of the Bride

“Journey you came into my life at 11 and you thought I talked funny. Well that was beginning of our relationship, laughter. The wonderful memories we have had on all our family trips, lake time in Wisconsin, haunted houses, and the many games of Clue. Thank you for sharing your Mom with me. Will is an amazing man and we are proud to call him our future son in law. Love you both!!

Sue Carr

Maternal Grandmother of Bride

“I am so happy to have had watched you grow into a beautiful young lady inside and out . We have so many wonderful memories together from our road trips, to making sugar cookies, to playing cards together, and of course all the dress up tea parties the 3 of us had together. Papa would have loved Will and is smiling down on you both. I am so excited to be part of your special day. It’s hard to believe all of the time you played wedding dress up at our house and now I get to see you walk down the aisle in your beautiful wedding grown. Love always.. ‘Mama’”

Brian Hargrove

Father of the Bride

Autumn Hargrove

Step Mother of the bride

Betty Hargrove

Paternal Grandmother of the Bride

Missy Shaw

Mother of the Groom

Mom of the groom. “I am so proud of Will and all that he has accomplished in 24 years. I am honored and blessed to be welcoming Journey into our family. They will do amazing things as a couple. We are looking forward to cheering them on.”

Susan Nally

Maternal Grandmother of the Groom

Brian Shaw

Father of the Groom

Hi I’m Brian Shaw father of the groom. We are so proud of our son and all his accomplishments. From high school rugby and wrestling with state championships to rugby at UT to working professionally as a property tax consultant. We are also thrilled that Journey will now be a part of the Shaw family. Welcoming Journ into the family feels natural as there’s a long legacy of music in the Shaw family. I love sitting with Journ and listening to her songs and adding some unneeded feedback but she accepts it. She loves our son and that makes Will’s mom and I very happy. Congrats to them both!

Lauren Plichta

Maid of Honor

“Hi! I’m Lauren and I was fortunate enough to meet Will and Journey at the same time two years ago, and since then we’ve become family. I’m so excited to be part of their lives and wedding and I can’t wait for the big day to celebrate them!”

Erica Schultz

Bridesmaid

I'm Erica, Journey's big Sis. We became family when her mother and my father met, about 13 years ago. I got to experience a lot of big moments in her life and I'm over the moon to see her marrying her love Will, who is also a wonderful addition to our family. We've traveled to a lot of wonderful places with our family and hold on to all those great memories. I can't wait to see all the new memories that Will and her will make together!

Maddie Shaw

Bridesmaid

“Hey guys I’m Will’s little sister! I’m at utc and I’m currently a senior graduating in May. I wish Will and Journey all the best.”

Madeline Wardlaw

Bridesmaid

“In 2018, Journey & I met as lonely college freshman & were instantly attached at the hip. She quickly redefined friendship for me & I can’t thank her enough for the support and unconditional love. She is one of the most genuine, caring, and talented people i’ve ever met & i’m so proud to call her my friend. I’m very grateful to have had the privilege of watching the beginnings of her & Wills beautiful relationship, & now i’m so excited to watch them tie that knot! I can’t wait to see the beautiful life they build together & all of the many things they will accomplish. All the love to both Journey & Will!!!

Graham Wallace

Groomsman

“My name is Graham Wallace and I have been a friend of the Shaw’s since Will and I were in Kindergarten. From roaming our childhood neighborhood to playing rugby together for many years the Shaws might know me a little too well. Happy to be a part of such an exciting day.”

Jay Linton

Groomsman

“I’m Jay Linton, Will’s high school best friend and rugby teammate at Father Ryan High School.” Jay has been a very close friend since high school and am so glad he will be here for the big day!

Tyler Redman

“I work in financial planning in Nashville assisting in insurance, retirement planning, and budgeting. I have known Will and Journey for over a couple years now and I’m so glad two people who compliment each other so well found one another!”

Austin Carr

Groomsman

“Cousin of the bride, but truth be told she has always been a little sister. I am so honored to be apart of this ceremony to celebrate the joining two amazing families. Will humbly asked me to be involved in the big day and I graciously accepted!! Congratulations to Journey and Will!! Welcome to the family Shaw’s!!

For all the days along the way
