We met in high school math class our sophomore year. I always struggled with math and Sean would help me with my classwork. We have always filled in each other's gaps. Ying to yang, day to night; opposites attract as they say. We have been together 7 years now and continue to meet each other in the middle. I push him out of his comfort zone, and he helps me calm down and relax. He proposed in Chicago at the intermission of 'Hamilton'. We were up there to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and he planned the whole trip (even though planning is usually my thing). I was suspicious of him, so I made sure I was all dressed up for the occasion. Walking in heels around the streets of Chicago was not a good idea. My feet hurt so bad by the time we made it to the theater I immediately wanted to find our seats. Little did I know Sean was planning on proposing before the play started in the gorgeous atrium. I literally could not stand so I foiled his plan, and we watched the first half of the play. At intermission he managed to get me to go with him to "look at the architecture" and I got to say the easiest 'Yes' ever.
