Byron & Marleana’s Love Story began when Byron decided to buy a new phone. He walked into the phone store where Marleana was one of the managers on duty. Byron spent hours transferring data from his old android to his new iPhone and locked in on the pretty little manager running around, busy helping everyone. As he was leaving the store, he asked her if she was single and she said yes. His response was, “I’m very interested in that”. Their first date at an Anderson Paak concert went down in history on 2/15/2019. And they will join their hearts officially on 2/15/2025.

Byron & Marleana got engaged on JUNETEENTH, 6/19/2024!!! The Juneteenth Music Festival is an annual event that they collaborate on and bring to life TOGETHER. It’s full of love, culture, community, live music, comedy, delicious food and MORE!!!! At the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Music Festival, Byron proceeded to the stage to make his acknowledgments and “thanks you’s”. His speech gradually turned into a PROPOSAL with him getting on one knee asking Marleana, “Will you marry me?”, not once but twice, asking again, “Marleana, will you please marry me?!?” … to which she replied, with joyful tears, “YES!!!” …. In front of all of the Juneteenth guests, family & friends, they embarked on the journey to become ONE!!!! Juneteenth will never be the same!!!!
