Where should I stay?

Answer

Our top recommendation is The Grand Hotel, as all of our wedding day festivities will take place at the resort, making it the most convenient option for guests. We also have a room block reserved there for the weekend. We understand that everyone’s travel needs and budgets vary, so please choose what works best for you. Where is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

Mobile Airport is the best location to fly into! Pensacola airport is another option but is a little further away. The Grand Hotel has a shuttle from both airports than can be set up when booking your room.

What is the attire for the wedding ceremony & reception?

Answer

Formal attire. We kindly ask that men wear a suit and tie, and women wear a formal midi or floor-length dress. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate!

Will wedding events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding day events will be held outdoors (weather permitting), utilizing both grass and concrete spaces throughout the property. Temperatures can drop a bit after sunset, so we recommend bringing a light layer to stay comfortable into the evening.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to and from the wedding day events for guests staying off property. We highly recommend staying at The Grand Hotel for the most convenient experience. We are still finalizing plans for the welcome party, and transportation details (if any) will be shared closer to the weekend. In the meantime, we encourage guests to explore downtown Fairhope on Friday before the festivities begin. Be sure to check out our Things To Do page for some of our favorite restaurants and shops!

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot located across the street from The Grand Hotel, as well as limited parking available inside the hotel gates. For guests who park across the street, golf cart service will be available to transport you to and from the hotel entrance for added convenience.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, unless otherwise noted on your invitation. We hope this allows everyone a relaxing and enjoyable evening!
