Our love story kicked off in March 2021, thanks to our unofficial matchmaking dream team: Jess Miller, Abby Hogan, and Emily Hogan. These three had known both of us for years and, in a moment of brilliance, decided we had to meet—that same day. No time to waste when true love is on the line, right? One week later, we went on our first date. Sparks flew, laughter happened, and neither of us ran away screaming—so we figured we were onto something good. Fast forward through two years of long distance, a big move to Cleveland, Ohio, and buying (and renovating!) a house together—because nothing says “true commitment” like surviving home improvement projects—and here we are: getting married!

After three and a half years of dating—and many not-so-subtle hints from Jourdan—it finally happened on January 4, 2025. In the middle of a full-blown snowstorm, Collin casually suggested we go out on a date and told Jourdan to “dress nice… just for fun.” We braved the snowy roads and ended up at the most charming little cabin called Mom and Pop’s Sleigh Rides. After bundling up and hopping into a horse-drawn sleigh (yes, it was as magical as it sounds), we glided through the winter wonderland for about ten minutes before stopping. Then, a photographer appeared and asked if we’d mind taking a few photos “for their website.” Jourdan, ever the team player, agreed—only to realize mid-pose that this was no ordinary photo op. Collin dropped to one knee, pulled out a ring, and asked the big question. Spoiler alert: she said yes. It was snowy, romantic, slightly freezing, and absolutely perfect.
