We’re getting married!

After I [Jourdan] moved back home to Jamestown I needed to find a quick part-time job before I went back to school for PTA. Landed a job at Red Lobster. There is when I first met Alivia. At first, I had a bad impression of her and thought she was stuck up, Lol. That lasted until she offered to help me with my side work before I was able to end my shift. Soon after that, Alivia "slid into my DMs", Lol and our story began. Quite a few ups and downs, but thank God Alivia stuck with me throughout it all!

We went to Portsmouth to spend New Years with our group of friends by going to Patty's and Pints. The whole night I had no idea what Alivia had planned. Even my friends knew and I was STILL clueless. I believe it was about 30 minutes until the ball dropped and couldn't find Alivia anywhere. Then, all of a sudden the DJ stopped the music and called my name to go to the stage. I thought for sure it was a mistake, so I ignored it. He called my name again and my friends started pushing me to the stage. There was Alivia. As she grabbed for my hand to take me on stage our favorite song started to play; Speechless by Dan & Shay. STILL I had no clue! I asked her, "what are you doing?!" and thought maybe she did this for us to dance to our song. Then, Alivia said in my ear, "I know we have had some ups and downs..." and that's when it hit me! Waterworks! In front of everyone, Alivia got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with her. I will never forget this night. Thanks to my Maid of Honor, everything was caught on camera. <3
