Lucky in love

We met on the night before New Year's Eve. Joty had sworn off men (again!), and Karn was healing from a long-term relationship. Fate brought us both to Club Soluna in Toronto, and it was almost love at first sight. The connection was undeniable. The next night, just after midnight, we found each other again to share our very first New Year's kiss. By New Year’s Day, we were on our first date to Niagara Falls, and things just felt easy. When it was time for Joty to fly back home, Karn dropped her off at the airport with a hopeful, “I wish your flight would get canceled so you could stay.” And, as if the universe was on our side, it did get canceled, giving us one more night together. A week later, Karn conquered his fear of flying and booked a ticket to Los Angeles, determined to make it official and ask Joty to be his girlfriend. And here we are today – when you know, you just know.
